1.1 Personal Security

Due to the nature of Interstate and other BakedCode services your security is extremely high on our list of priorities (in fact it's at the top), however this does not mean you're completely safe. We recommend high levels of personal security be used when interacting with Interstate and affiliated services. Please take great care with your account details and with who you allow to access your BakedCode services. We can not be held responsible for anything which may happen to or occur on your account by another person or identity.

1.2 Humans Only

Accounts must be owned and operated by humans, any accounts suspected of being automated or bot-like can be terminated without prior notice.

1.3 Correct Information

You must provide correct and up to date information when signing up for the service, we also expect you to keep your information up to date after sign up in order for us to keep your account safe.

1.4 One User per Account

There must only be one person using a BakedCode ID, anything else is a potential security risk and we reserve the right to terminate such accounts.

1.5 Data Transmitted

Transmitting any threatening or potentially dangerous data via Interstate is strictly prohibited. This includes but is no limited to worms, viruses, spyware, adware or code which may be deemed destructive.

1.6 Content

You are responsible for all content which is published via your BakedCode ID or within your Interstate(s). This includes but is not limited to data, text, photos, videos, links (URL or URI). Anything we deem to be inappropriate or offensive will be removed without prior notice.

1.7 Single Account

We would ask you stick to using just one BakedCode ID, it is not recommended to use two or more due to complications which arise with managing multiple accounts. We do not prevent you from doing so but would rather you not.

1.8 No Ad Blockers

Whilst we strive to provide Interstate with a free package this requires we gain ad revenue from people using the free version. If you are suspected to be blocking, hiding or modifying the adverts we have around the service's interface then we reserve the right to terminate your account.

1.9 Illegal Purposes

Interstate's service must not be used for any illegal, pornographic, racial or any other unauthorized purposes. All users must comply with their local laws and co-operate with their local law enforcement's demands. If you or your account violates any laws then you are solely responsible. We will comply with law enforcement if we deem it necessary.

1.10 Account Squatting

Withholding or pre-registering account URLs or usernames is strictly prohibited. All trademarks must be respected and any URLs or usernames which conflict with trademarks may be moved to the rightful party without notice.

1.11 Preventative Measures

We reserve the right to prevent and/or ban anyone or any identity from the service at any time with prior notice.

1.12 Own Risk

At all times you use the service at your own risk, we take no responsibility for what you or any other user does on the service. We always try our utmost to deal with individuals causing problems as quickly and professionally as possible.

1.13 Abuse/Threats

We reserve the right to terminate and/or block anyone or any identity found to be abusing, threatening or causing distress to any other users, staff, community, affiliates or other people connected in anyway to BakedCode or our services.

2.1 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or terminate the service at any time without prior notice. No refund is required to be issued to those who have paid to use the service. If new features or options are added to the service your continued use of the service will act as your automatic agreement to these Terms of Use.

2.2 Sale of Service

We reserve the right to sell or move ownership of BakedCode, the service or affiliate services to a 3rd party without prior notice and without a given reason.

2.3 Pricing

We reserve the right to change, update, raise or lower the pricing for the service at any time without prior notice. We will always strive to provide sufficient notice before any pricing changes but can not guarantee it.

2.4 Cancellation

Cancelling the service is entirely your responsibility. We don't take requests via phone, email, writing or any other form of communication. You can cancel your service from the the Config page found within the application. All of your data will be deleted from the service and will not be recoverable, we take no responsibility for your service being deleted. Once cancelled you will not be billed again.

2.5 Interruption

If at any point the service is interrupted or can not be accessed we will try our best to get it back in working order. We are not required to provide you with any compensation for such interruptions or inconveniences.

2.6 Removal of Content

We reserve the right to remove any content we deem to be against our terms of use, at not point are we legally obligated to do so.

2.7 Spam

The service is required to be a spam free zone and anyone using the service for such a thing will have their content deleted and account terminated.

2.8 Security Limitations

From time to time we will need to transfer or modifying data/information in a lower level of security due to hardware, software or time limitations. We hold no responsibility to anything caused during these periods.

2.9 Support

No one is guaranteed support but we always try our best to respond to any questions or problems within 72 hours. Please use our support forum or email us at help@interstateapp.com. We do not provide support over the phone, SMS, snail mail or any instant messaging services.

2.10 Liability

At no point will BakedCode be responsible for the actions of others, the loss of data, damages caused, security breaches to your account, or anything else mentioned in this Terms of Use document.

4.1 Credit Card

In order to use the paid service on Interstate you must provide a valid credit card, if you wish to use the free service then no credit card is required. We process credit card payments through Stripe, you can read more about them here.

4.2 Failure to Cancel

If you do not wish to continue to use your account after your 30-day free trial but provide credit card details on sign up then you will need to downgrade or delete your Interstate from the Config page. Failure to do so will result in the monthly fee agreed upon on sign up which is non-refundable.

4.3 Canceling or Downgrading

If you cancel or downgrade your account to the free plan you will no longer be charged for any future reoccurring payments unless you upgraded to a paid plan again or have outstanding debts.

4.4 Mid-cycle Refunds

Downgrading or canceling your account after you've pre-paid for a month or year will not result in a refund.

4.4 Local Taxation

You will be responsible for paying any taxation on your payments to use the service outside of the United States if you area requires you to do so (rarely applicable).

4.5 Downgrading

If you downgrade please be aware if the plan you downgrade to is too small for your usage case (including but not limited to projects, users, storage, discuss) then you may lose some of your data. We are not responsible for this occurring, please take care when downgrading.

4.6 Coupons

We reserve the right to discontinue or remove any coupons without prior notice or reasoning, that includes removing them from your Interstate without the termination of the coupon or offer. Misuse of coupons may result in your account being terminated or charges increased to replace lost funds.

4.7 Free

You will never be billed, charged or asked for billing information whilst using the free plan. We will never ask you for your billing information until you intend to use the paid options that we provide.

5.1 U.S. Law

We operate the service by the U.S. copyright law, all content posted to the service must comply with the U.S. copyright law.

5.2 Intellectual Property

If you post anything to the service you agree that you are the original creator or copyright holder. We have no claim to your content you upload or post to the service.

5.3 Service

The design and code are all copyright to BakedCode, Inc (© 2010-2012). We do not provide anyone with permission to reproduce, redistribute, copy, reuse, or duplicate any parts of the design or code.
